Similar to Antonio's post, online classes and online teaching will soon be the only source of learning. But I'm not sure whether it'll benefit or ruin the future. It has its pros and its cons. Some pros are saving the extra cash for other necessities, or having it be more convenient for everyone to access an online class. Some cons are losing socializing skills from attending a school, or not experiencing a real school learning environment.

ReplyDeleteI think the "flexbooks" will benefit our future because it gives the kids a new way to learn. Most classes are lecture based, and studies show that most children do not learn well under those conditions. The "flexbooks" will offer a new way for kids to learn, one more engaging and perhaps interesting than lecture.
ReplyDeleteThough this is about technology, it falls outside the scope of our class and these posts. I'd like to focus more on articles/research about bioethics, biotechnology, literature & science connections, and the question of what it means to be human.
